Open Daily. The entrance fee for divers is 12 USD. Toilets and changing facilities are available. There are parking areas with tables to set up dive equipment both inside and outside of Grand Cenote. It is an easy 30m/100ft walk down a wooden stairway to the water from the parking area. Permanent Gold Cavern Line. Maximum depth 12m/30ft.

Grand Cenote is a very popular site for snorkeling as well as Cavern and Cave Diving and is in located on the Coba Road 4km/2.5miles from the town of Tulum.
Grand Cenote is the main entrance of Sistema Sac Actun (The White Cave) which is currently the 2nd longest underwater cave system in the world with over 176km/110miles of mapped and surveyed passages and over 130 cenotes interconnected within the system.
As the name suggest Grand Cenote is both impressive in size and beauty with many intricate and beautiful stalactites and stalagmites.
The Cavern Zone is very open with good light penetration and spectacular views of the entrance from the back of the Cavern. The formations and walls of the cavern are very light in color and visibility is outstanding all year round. This is a nice easy dive in a spectacular cavern. Checkout the area around the Lily pads at the end of your dive and you may see a turtle.
